Performs specialized setups on a variety of manufacturing machinery, troubleshoots and performs minor repairs. Must have a good understanding of how the different presses and tools work (grinders, punch, draw, trim, pierce, etc.). May be required to construct temporary tooling using power tools. Assists in training new & current employees on the proper operation of a punch press. May be called upon to give input/make suggestions when product quality is in question. Exhibits commitment toward continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and customer services performance. Monitors product quality and any safety issues related to the machinery. Assists Machinists. Performs other functions as required.
Requirements
