About The Position

The Settlements Analyst for Power Markets coordinates and executes all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivables for US Power. This role ensures that payment execution runs smoothly and that systems correctly reflect Settlement status at all times. The analyst effectively communicates with all internal and external stakeholders and is able to proactively resolve Settlement-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of settlements experience with ISO/RTOs and bilateral counterparties.
• Ability to reconcile ISO/RTO invoices for ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and CAISO.
• Ability to navigate physical tagging and ISO/RTO data extracts.
• Commitment to ongoing education and IT enhancements to drive efficiency.
• Ability to assess risk in business decisions.
• Experience collaborating with trading, operations, accounting, trade finance, and management.
• Document and modify settlement processes and procedures.
• Review and educate on changing ISO/RTO and bilateral settlements procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Confidence and accountability in decision making.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Allegro ETRM system.
• Experience with PowerOptix.
• VBA and programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivables for US Power.

• Manage commodities exchanges, ISO/RTOs, and power master agreements.
• Handle confirmations process and workflows.
• Understand ISO/RTO and bilateral settlement processes and timelines.
• Extract ISO/RTO data for billing and settlements.
• Manage complex structured transactions and options.
