About The Position

The Settlement Agent/Settlement Attorney at Titan Title, LLC is responsible for managing the client experience throughout the real estate transaction process. This role involves conducting closings, resolving title issues, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients, including real estate agents, loan officers, buyers, and sellers.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the real estate settlement process.
• Proficiency in Qualia or similar title and escrow software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in the title and escrow industry is highly preferred.
• Virginia Title Insurance License OR Virginia state bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real estate closings in the office and travel as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients for closings held outside the office.
• Provide exceptional service to real estate agents, loan officers, buyers, and sellers.
• Review title work and ensure requirements are met.
• Facilitate the clearing of title issues and resolve any requirements before closing.
• Maintain detailed file summaries, noting any special requirements or forms.
• Document all communications and updates clearly in the system.
• Work closely with the managing attorney/CEO and operations manager to align office functions with client needs.
• Actively participate in marketing and business development initiatives.
• Be a proactive team player and support colleagues as needed.
