About The Position
Under the direction of the supervisor, this individual is responsible for setting up a variety of mechanical and hydraulic presses and maintaining an orderly inventory of all associated jigs, tools, dies and other pertinent equipment. The incumbent must be able to operate the variety of machines in the department at production levels while maintaining quality requirements. The incumbent will fill in on most jobs in the department when required, will be responsible for notifying the supervisor of all maintenance requirements on a timely basis and also requisitioning any tools or other materials as required through the supervisor.
