Today, MSI Metro Sales Inc., a 100% Employee-Owned Company, is an industry leading hardware, software, and managed services provider. MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Shop Technician – in our De Pere, WI office. The shop technician will set up new and used machines onsite. Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, the shop technician will also assist field technicians setting up equipment offsite and act as a back up to other departments.

Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • According to FMCSR regulations:
  • Minimum 21 years old.
  • Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle (including clean driving record and valid driver’s license).
  • Must possess or be able to acquire a DOT health certificate.
  • Lift or push up to 100 lbs.
  • Adhere to all MSI’s service policies and procedures.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and document inventory and filing relevant paperwork with accuracy.
  • Unboxing, assembling, and setting-up new machines.
  • Calibrating and updating office equipment according to established guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair new and used office equipment.
  • Assist with machine deliveries and installations.
  • Act as a back-up to the warehouse team; including shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory, and cycle-counting.
  • Maintain an organized, clean shop and warehouse.
  • Complete all assigned training and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
