About The Position

Set-up and maintain insert folding equipment. (Primary folder in use will be
Vijuk/MBO utilizing either round pile feeders or pharma style friction feeders)
Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training – Experience in Bindery, Pharma, and Vijuk equipment
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Strong mathematical skills
• Attention to detail a must
• Good organizational skills
• Good mechanical skills
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Oversee multiple machines at one time
• Knowledge of proper use of rulers, gauges and assorted hand tools
• Must be able to maintain good attendance
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance as needed on folders
• Set up and trouble shoot problems to a 1/16” tolerance
• Accurately fills out paperwork utilizing GMP, adheres to SOP’s and work instructions, and quality standards
• Accurately read and implement job jacket information and customer specifications
• Understand/Maintain and pay attention to electronic equipment such as bar code readers, jam detectors, and double sheet detectors
• Able to fold up to 16 plates in the 1st section down to 1 1/8”
• Assist in loading and catching on machine as needed, working as a team player
• Performs other job duties as assigned
