About The Position
This position will perform tool changeovers, perform start-ups, provide technical expertise on molding floor, document changeovers, analyze data and write technical reports, recommend corrective actions through root cause analysis, perform minor tool and press maintenance, work closely with Engineering, Automation and Maintenance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and aptitude skills
Responsibilities
- Mold setting and change overs
- Startup difficult molds, such as those with hydraulic core pulls or hard-to-run materials
- Demonstrate a superior working knowledge of all presses
- Document tooling changes made by filling out appropriate paperwork
- Assist in solving problems using root cause analysis approach
- Recommend corrective actions
- Perform minor tool maintenance
- Perform minor press maintenance
- Must comply with the Operators Quality Standard sheet or quality guidelines from floor inspectors for specific jobs.
- Will adhere to all guidelines pertaining to the TASUS Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
