About The Position

The Set Up Technician at DEX Imaging is responsible for independently troubleshooting printers and copiers, responding to device setup orders, and maintaining both customer-owned and company-owned devices. This role involves repairing and refurbishing used devices, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. The technician must stay updated on service-related developments and complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, order processing systems, and contact management systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot printers and copiers using provided training and technical resources.
• Respond to device setup orders in a timely manner according to DEX standards.
• Repair and refurbish used devices within established timelines.
• Identify and order replacement parts for printers and copiers.
• Clean and maintain both customer-owned and company-owned devices.
• Establish and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Respond to customer requests for information.
• Stay knowledgeable about changes and developments in service-related areas.
