We are currently seeking for Set Up Operators to join our team. This is a 2nd shift, Full Time position. Monday - Friday, 1pm - 9:30pm with Saturday availability (when needed). Guaranteed 40+ hours with opportunities for overtime. Benefits available from day one. The Set Up Operator assembles product, parts, or materials by using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners to specific standards in a safe and efficient manner to produce product, parts and/or materials according to production standards and schedules. Competitive starting Hourly Pay at $18.50 plus full benefits starting day one which includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Near site clinic, Guaranteed annual bonus, Flexible Saving Account (FSA), short and long term disability (after 90 days), life insurance, earned time off (starts accruing immediately), 401(k) retirement plan with company match and employee stock purchase plan.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Operates assigned equipment or tools safely in accordance with company and OSHA safety programs and rules.
  • Operate Set Up equipment for a bronze foundry used to create polymer molds in the metal casting process.
  • Inspect and prepare molds based on customer specifications.
  • Create Mold layouts using materials and adhesives to meet customers' specifications.
  • Cross trains on all work stations within department.
  • Keeps work environment neat and clean.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
