Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to setup and troubleshoot machinery for efficient and trouble-free operation. Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Job Description: Performs specialized setups on a variety of manufacturing machinery, troubleshoots and performs minor repairs. Must have a good understanding of how the different presses and tools work (grinders, punch, draw, trim, pierce, etc.). May be required to construct temporary tooling using power tools. Assists in training new & current employees on the proper operation of a punch press. May be called upon to give input/make suggestions when product quality is in question. Exhibits commitment toward continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and customer services performance. Monitors product quality and any safety issues related to the machinery. Assists Machinists. Performs other functions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 2 – 3 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to work with small precision parts
- Ability to read blueprints preferred.
