About The Position

The Servicing Operations Specialist I is an entry-level position within the Special Services team at United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM). This role focuses on Loan Boarding and MERS processing, as well as handling various internal and external servicing audits and requests. The specialist will work closely with internal departments to resolve loan-level issues and ensure accurate servicing operations.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Servicing experience or equivalent knowledge
• Great analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Excel
• Experience with MSP (Black Knight)
• High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree
• Familiar with I Assist, FHA Connection, Valeri, and Docutech, Edge, Ease
• Knowledge of loan boarding and/or MERS processing

Responsibilities

• Review and work daily exception reports
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio
• Update the Subservicer's systems as needed
• Help Internal Departments with identifying the root cause of errors
• Effective communication with a wide variety of internal parties to resolve loan level issues
• Respond to email requests from AE's and Brokers on behalf of borrowers
• Work tasks that require loan level updating
• Other duties as assigned
