About The Position

The Servicing Operations Specialist I is a member of the Special Services team within the Servicing division at UWM. This team is responsible for Loan Boarding, MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System), investor requests, all internal and external Servicing Audits and various adhoc requests that enter into the Servicing team. The Servicing Operations Specialist I role is an entry level role into the Special Services team and will be hired with a specific focus on Loan Boarding or MERS as well as other needs that arise.

Requirements

1-2 years of Servicing experience or equivalent knowledge
Great analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with MS Excel
Experience with MSP (Black Knight)
High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree
Familiar with I Assist, FHA Connection, Valeri, and Docutech, Edge, Ease
Knowledge of loan boarding and/or MERS processing

Responsibilities

Review and work daily exception reports
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio
Update the Subservicer’s systems as needed
Help Internal Departments with identifying the root cause of errors
Effective communication with a wide variety of internal parties to resolve loan level issues
Respond to email requests from AE’s and Brokers on behalf of borrowers
Work tasks that require loan level updating
Other duties as assigned
