The Aero Services Materials Planner is responsible for material planning and inventory metrics for aero parts services. They will monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications as well as plan for prevention of excess inventory and "stock outs". They will be diligent in supplier follow up to have the most up-to-date information regarding part availability. This role reports to the Aero Services Materials Manager and will collaborate to ensure that the stocking levels are optimal for business success. They will work with all levels of personnel in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage. This person will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects. They will work with customers internally to identify new opportunities to create and improve our standard processes. They will work closely with the sourcing team and participate in supplier meetings. They will work with warehousing and the quality team to resolve discrepancies identified during the receiving process. The role will assist with the implementation of some new ERP capabilities. There will occasionally be after-hours requirements to support emergency priority orders to support critical customer demands.
