The selected candidate will be part of AVEVA NA project delivery services group that exclusively works on delivering world class Manufacturing Execution Systems and Manufacturing Operations Management solutions based on Model Driven MES principles using AVEVA MES to multinational manufacturing customers based in NA. We cater to various manufacturing industries and processes including Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Discrete Manufacturing, Specialty Chemicals, Metals, Building Products and Life Sciences. In this role you will be part of AVEVA MES Global Practice and will have opportunities to work with large multi-national companies on multi-site MES project implementations and will have opportunities to become Subject Matter Expert in various functions and industries where AVEVA MES is used. You will be a part of the large global MES delivery team where you will have opportunities to network, collaborate and hone your MES skills.

  • Lead multi-site MES project implementations.
  • Gather requirements and convert them into system design.
  • Manage project schedule and lead project team.
  • Ensure timely completion of technical development and tasks.
  • Apply AVEVA Model Driven MES to solve customer issues.
  • Help customers achieve their business objectives and improve supply chain.
  • Interview customers and gather customer requirements.
  • Translate information into formal requirements.
  • Identify required software system and infrastructure architecture designs.
  • Convert gathered formal requirements into a system design.
  • Work with the Project Manager to provide detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Enforce technical and project execution best practices.
  • Manage geographically distributed project team.
  • Contribute to development of project tasks.
  • Manage project source code and release management.
  • Author system acceptance test criteria.
  • Conduct unit testing and system testing.
  • Manage development, quality and production environments.
  • Travel up to 25% to customer sites for workshops and implementation.
  • Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Information Technology preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in building MES solutions.
  • At least 3 years of experience demonstrating strong leadership skills in multi-site MES project implementations.
  • Full software development life cycle experience.
  • Experience with Production Scheduling and Optimization, Recipe Management, Production Sequencing and Dispatch, Order Execution, Genealogy, Track & Trace, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), ERP Integration, Production Quality, Statistical Process Control and Automation.
  • Experience with Business Process Management using Workflows.
  • ISA-88/Batch Control experience.
  • Warehouse Management experience.
