About The Position

The Service Operations Specialist at Insight Enterprises is responsible for managing the order entry process for technology devices, ensuring compliance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role involves resolving discrepancies, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate product information, all while contributing to a people-first company culture that values employee growth and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders for shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies and manage receipt dates.
  • Work with distribution employees to address issues related to lost and damaged products.
  • Become an expert in specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors.
  • Acquire Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for damaged or unused products from vendors.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned vendors, including back-orders and estimated time of arrivals (ETA).
  • Handle and track warranty claims for assigned products.
  • Maintain accurate costing, classification, and status of assigned products, identifying billing and inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with finance to resolve vendor-related issues.
