About The Position

We are seeking an engineering-driven project leader to oversee the successful delivery of Akselos' Digital Twin solutions for major Energy and Chemical clients. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, asset integrity, and customer success, ensuring smooth deployment, measurable technical value, and long-term platform adoption. 📍   Location:   North America (preferably Houston)

Requirements

  • Some 10 years of professional experience in the Energy or Chemical industries.
  • Strong focus on asset integrity management within Downstream or Upstream operations.
  • Exposure to refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore assets (fixed or floating), or other heavy industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex engineering or asset-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of simulation engineering processes (finite element or computational fluid analysis preferred).
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions and customer success workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of structural design and operational considerations for offshore fixed and floating assets.
  • Strong project management and coordination capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving business priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and strong problem-solving ability.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in finite element or computational fluid analysis.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Digital Twin projects for Energy and Chemical assets, managing all stages from project qualification through implementation and handover.
  • Coordinate with customer asset integrity teams, operators, and Akselos' engineering groups (structural, simulation, and mechanical) to maintain scope, schedule, and technical quality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring proactive communication, leading regular progress reviews, and supporting long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to extend customer value through additional Akselos services, features, or technical solutions.
  • Oversee the technical definition and validation of Digital Twin configurations, ensuring modeling assumptions and engineering standards are met in collaboration with internal engineering teams.
  • Provide technical input during pre-sales activities, including scoping discussions, feasibility assessments, and proposal development.
  • Lead post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen Akselos' engineering-focused Service Delivery Framework.
  • Mentor and support engineering team members to reinforce global delivery consistency and elevate technical excellence.
