Services Data Center Solutions Principal - Multicloud-Data Center, AI & Data and Security & Resilience Are you an experienced outcome orientated technologist who well versed in providing presales advice for game-changing, enterprise-wide Multicloud/Data Center, AI & Data and Security & Resilience Transformation services? The Data Center Solutions Principal works within our Dell Technologies Services (DTS) Technical Consultant team in a pre-sales function. You are responsible for leading the complex Multicloud, Data & AI and Resiliency & Security services solution definition and journey to outcome in close alignment with the Services Sales, Services Delivery Teams, Solution Partners and in collaboration with product account teams to architect and position the Dell and Dell partner ecosystem solution that best meets customer requirements and delivers expected outcomes. Dell Technologies Professional Services offers address the entire solution lifecycle in 4 phases, i.e. Strategize, Implement, Adopt and Scale spanning Consulting, Deployment, Residency and Managed services. What you’ll achieve: This is a senior presales customer facing role. The Solutions Principal will lead the development and delivery of presentations up to customer C-level management, driving advisory and technical workshops, designing Services Solution scopes, providing professional Services proposal responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), building out Statements of Work (SOW) comprising contractual services scopes, effort estimation and managing the sales lifecycle from transition of work to the Dell Technologies delivery organization through aligned practice management.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • 10+ years services presales experience in the role of a solution lead, solution architect or similar with proven capability and experience in constructing services solutions (requirements gathering, professional services scope definition, level of effort estimation, program planning and work packages, SoW writeup and RFI/RFP responses) for customers, typically in the large Enterprise and/or Government Sectors.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the development of the program and project specific services P&L and cash flow development (including business impact), risk analysis and working with Fixed Price, Time and Material and other complex commercial models and incorporation of 3rd party contracts in Waterfall and Agile project approaches.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles and effectively influencing at all levels (up to CxO) with ability to construct, tailor, and negotiate service contracts (e.g., Statements of Work) for customer engagement which may require further 3rd party vendor scoping elements.
  • Passion for cutting edge technology, services and life-long learning and translating this into business outcomes
  • Expert knowledge in Multicloud/Data Center and AI & Data services and proficient knowledge in the area Security & Resilience services.
  • Exceptional consultative presales skills, including methods, tools and techniques to apply within digital transformation context; excellent communication skills in English (verbal/written); ability to run customer workshops and executive briefings; ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Travel across the region is essential.

  • Engage in complex accounts and will lead customer presentations and workshops at the senior leadership level by developing and articulating the applicable transformation journey being able to carry the conversation in both business and technology value terms with a focus on Multicloud/Data Center, AI & Data and Security & Resilience services.
  • Be part of the Account Solutions Principals. You will work on opportunities in the region.
  • Be recognized for your Services solution presales subject-matter expertise in the area of Multicloud, Data & AI and Resiliency & Security and specifically your ability to architect and sell end-to-end professional services solutions.
  • Contribute to business results through quality of input to Dell Technologies solution offers.
  • You will be an evangelist to customers and internal stakeholders for Dell Technologies Multicloud/Data Center, AI & Data and Security & Resilience professional service offerings.
  • You represent Dell Technologies Services in the Dell Technologies organization through internal enablement sessions comprising workshops, presentations, programs, community/practice leadership and training.
  • Work with services portfolio teams on new offers and with business development on sales campaigns.
