About The Position

The Services Coordinator at St. Marys Food Bank triages and schedules all services within the Skills Center. This position will be a central contact connecting external clients and enrolled students with programs and services including SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). The Services Coordinator reports to the Client Services Manager of the Skills Center. Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is required . Essential Functions Schedules student/client appointments for resources and benefits Creates, builds, and maintains student/client files and documents. Enters and maintains information in student/client database. Distributes and tracks bus passes. Updates client and student information Perform any other duties as directed by the Client Services Manager Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all internal/external customers of St. Marys Food Bank with an excellent service experience. Scope and Complexity May interact with all levels of leadership, employees, agency representatives, community neighbors, volunteers, external vendors, and clients. Physical Demands/Environment Factors Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires significant use of personal computer, phone and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone. Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or 2 years of administrative experience
  • Customer service and interpersonal communication skills; professional when explaining general information, requirements, and processes
