About The Position

CTG is seeking a ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer for a 12-month contract position located in Columbus, OH. This role is critical for leading the end-to-end quality assurance and testing efforts for a large-scale public sector ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases across various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and CSM. A key component of the role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure efficient regression testing. Additionally, the engineer will perform detailed manual functional testing for new features and conduct thorough regression testing during platform upgrades and patch cycles. Validation of platform configurations against stringent security controls and data privacy requirements, specifically aligned with FedRAMP standards, is a crucial duty. The role also entails identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through to resolution, working collaboratively with development and architecture teams for root cause analysis. Furthermore, the engineer will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting in script preparation and providing technical guidance to stakeholders, and will conduct performance and load testing to guarantee system responsiveness and scalability under enterprise-level usage.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow QA methodologies and platform testing
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow Test Management)
  • 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience testing within the ServiceNow platform
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy standards (FedRAMP experience preferred)
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or public sector implementations
  • Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ISTQB Certified Tester
