About The Position

DPG is looking for a strong ServiceNow Engineer to join our team supporting a customer in a classified environment. This is a hands on role where you will be working alongside other DPG engineers to design, build, and improve ServiceNow capabilities that directly support mission operations. You will play a key role in developing scalable, secure solutions while ensuring alignment with architecture standards and delivering real impact for the mission. Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules across the platform Support implementation and customization of core ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow automation Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and sustainment of ServiceNow solutions, optimizing for performance, scalability, and usability Leverage platform best practices to improve automation, reduce manual effort, and streamline service delivery Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions Integrate security and compliance into the platform including role based access controls, auditing, and data protection Support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required
  • An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required
  • DoD 8570 IAT2 certificate required, i.e. CompTIA Security+
  • 7-10 years of experience directly related to ServiceNow development and platform engineering
  • Strong experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow including scripting with JavaScript, Glide APIs, and business rules
  • Experience implementing and supporting ITSM, CMDB, and ITOM modules
  • Hands on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with workflow automation, catalog development, and service portal customization
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across platform performance, integrations, and data integrity
  • Experience working in secure or classified environments
  • Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to support occasional after hour maintenance

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD, or equivalent)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex problems efficiently
  • Ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination across teams and organizations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
