About The Position

The ServiceNow Architect serves as the strategic leader and technical authority for the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining a scalable, secure, and integrated architecture that supports organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives. The Architect ensures that ServiceNow solutions are aligned with ITIL principles, enabling efficient and standardized service management processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Configuration Management with the appropriate ServiceNow workflows and modules. Please know that we do require each candidate to participate in completing the Epic Sphinx test as part of our consideration process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below)
  • ServiceNow System Certification in any area, Required
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in ServiceNow platform architecture and design, preferably in a healthcare environment, Required
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and integration capabilities as pertinent to the healthcare environment, Required

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture for the ServiceNow platform, including data models, integrations, and module usage.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead platform roadmap planning in alignment with organizational strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Review and approve technical designs, configurations, and customizations.
  • Provide architectural guidance to developers and administrators during implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization across departments.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
