We’re one of the fastest-growing home-services companies in Florida—and we’re expanding our team with a Service Writer who’s ready to bring professionalism, organization, urgency, and a customer-first mindset to our Air, Plumbing, and Electrical service operations. This is NOT just a dispatch role. This is NOT just a call-by-call manager role. This is a true hybrid with a Service Writer role where your experience managing technicians, customers, scheduling, and workflow in the automotive industry will translate perfectly into the trades.

  • Service Workflow Management Coordinate and manage the daily schedule for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians. Prioritize jobs, maximize efficiency, and ensure the right technician is assigned to the right call. Manage job progress and keep service tickets accurate, complete, and clean.
  • Customer & Technician Communication Communicate with customers before, during, and after service appointments. Keep technicians informed with job details, expectations, and any changes. Provide real-time support and ensure smooth handoffs between the office and the field.
  • Job Ticket & Estimate Coordination Review technician notes, recommendations, and findings. Ensure complete and accurate documentation for follow-up work. Collaborate with Sales Coordinators for larger repairs or installs.
  • Performance & Capacity Management Monitor KPIs such as call conversion, dispatch-to-arrival times, job completion rates, and technician productivity. Adjust schedules and capacity throughout the day to meet demand. Support technicians in hitting their daily and weekly goals.
  • Customer Experience & Problem Solving Ensure customers receive clear communication, timely updates, and top-tier service. De-escalate issues, resolve service concerns, and ensure a “Lickety Split” level of satisfaction. Support repeat business through exceptional service coordination.
  • Experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor (automotive industry strongly preferred).
  • Strong multitasking ability—you can juggle calls, schedules, dispatch changes, and customer needs without breaking a sweat.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems (ServiceTitan experience is a plus).
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.
