About The Position

We Are Hiring for a Service Writer in Dulles, VA! Transdev in Dulles, VA is hiring a Service Writer. The Service writer ensure efficient vehicle maintenance scheduling and manage orders. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open work request immediately upon receipt.
• Close work request immediately upon completion of quality inspection.
• Run and review reports as needed.
• Answers shop telephones and schedule repair appointments.
• Maintain vehicle information files.
• Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service.
• Arrange pick-up of outside repairs.
