About The Position

Great Western Trailer (GWT) is hiring a full-time Service Writer at our Tulsa, OK facility. As a Service Writer, youll be the first and last point of contact for our customersgreeting them, understanding their service needs, and coordinating with our technicians to ensure a smooth and professional repair experience. Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working across departments.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a service writer or customer service role.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Schedule service appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate repair needs to technicians and follow up on progress.
  • Prepare and review work orders, estimates, and invoices.
  • Collect payments and verify payment methods.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and emailing.
  • Assist with accounts payable invoice entry for service vendors.
  • Support the Service Manager with additional administrative duties as needed.
