About The Position

Zappone's Auto Service is looking for a Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, obtaining vehicle data, and communicating automotive needs clearly. The role involves maintaining high customer satisfaction, managing repair estimates, and ensuring effective communication between customers and technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Experience in automobile dealership or independent repair facility.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Professional appearance.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 10 - 25 lbs.
• Ability to drive cars and trucks (automatic & standard transmissions).

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification optional.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and clearly write the general nature of automotive needs.
• Notify customers of other repairs or maintenance identified by test drive and/or walk-around.
• Provide customers with estimates of repairs and anticipated time of completion.
• Verify method of payment.
• Maintain contact with technicians throughout the workday.
• Maintain the optimum Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
• Administer appropriate warranties.
• Test drive vehicles as necessary.
• Notify customers when repairs are completed.
• Use Auto Vitals to check vehicles in and send reports to customers.

Benefits
