About The Position
Shaker Auto Group is seeking an experienced Service Writer to join our dynamic team in Watertown, CT. As a prominent auto group representing brands such as Mazda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Ford, and Hyundai, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our customers across our five locations in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will possess a professional appearance and strong customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to provide our customers with the highest level of service. This role is crucial in helping us maintain our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this position, you will be responsible for scheduling vehicle service appointments and greeting customers in a professional manner. You will accurately document customer concerns and convey the expected costs of repairs, obtaining necessary approvals. Tracking the progress of vehicles and communicating updates to customers is essential, as is maintaining excellent customer satisfaction scores. You will also be expected to perform any additional tasks assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our service department. While knowledge of CDK software is preferred, it is not a requirement. We are looking for a team player who is committed to helping us grow and achieve our goals.
