About The Position
The Service Worker position is an entry-level, trainee classification under immediate supervision. The role involves learning and performing a variety of manual, semi-skilled, and skilled duties associated with the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of the District's domestic water distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection systems equipment and facilities. As experience is gained, assignments become more varied and complex, with less supervision required. The position reports to the Operations Supervisor, Domestic, and does not supervise any other positions.
