About The Position
The Service Worker position is an entry-level role under immediate supervision, where the incumbent learns and performs a variety of manual, semi-skilled, and skilled duties associated with the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of the District's domestic water distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection systems equipment and facilities. The role involves working from work orders, plat books, blueprints, and verbal and written instructions, while maintaining safety protocols and records. As experience is gained, the assignments become more varied and complex, with less supervision required over time.
