About The Position

Central Houston Nissan is hiring for a Service Valet/Service Porter position to service our dealership in Houston, Texas. Job Summary: Porters move and keep the vehicles in sound working condition and helps management as requested.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out detailed written, oral, or diagramed instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Valid driver’s license.
• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
