About The Position
Transdev in Providence, Rhode Island is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: + $19.50 - $21.50 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) + Starting pay $19.50 with progression to $21.50 over 2 years. + Full Time and Part-Time shifts available! Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Responsibilities
- Maintain the interior cleanliness of fleet vehicles
- Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
- Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
- Perform light maintenance to vehicles, shop areas, and related facilities.
- Report maintenance issues to supervisor
- Other duties as required.
