About The Position
Pattersons Home Appliance Center is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Rockwood, TN. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently diagnosing and resolving appliance issues. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, not only for oneself but also for fellow employees and customers. The technician will be responsible for utilizing computer software systems to manage customer records and service calls, ensuring that all interactions are documented accurately and timely. In this role, the Service Technician will build positive relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The technician will be expected to resolve customer issues within established guidelines, ensuring that each customer leaves satisfied with the service provided. Additionally, the technician will maintain truck stock inventory according to company standards and follow a maintenance schedule to keep the service vehicle organized and operational. The position requires participation in ongoing training and development, which may include off-site and overnight travel. The technician must adhere to all company policies and procedures while performing other assigned duties as necessary. This is a full-time position with expected hours ranging from 40 to 55 per week, including overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
