Service-Technician

The Service Technician at Ascendance Truck Centers is responsible for providing high-quality repairs, maintenance, and care for customer equipment. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic, ensuring that all work performed meets the highest standards of quality. The technician will be expected to obtain and maintain 100% Certified Technician Status with various OEMs, including Cummins and Navistar/International, and participate in hands-on training as necessary. The position emphasizes technical proficiency, teamwork, and effective communication with both customers and colleagues. In this role, the technician will conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, diagnose issues using online resources, and communicate effectively with customers regarding necessary repairs and maintenance. The technician will also be responsible for filing warranty claims and ensuring that all service work is completed to the highest standard. A strong focus on customer satisfaction is essential, as the technician will need to identify and communicate any additional repairs needed beyond what is noted on the work order. The Service Technician will work in a safe and clean environment, promoting the proper use and care of company tools and equipment. The role may require working overtime and assisting in other areas as needed.
