About The Position

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing automobiles while following a strict set of company procedures, policies and guidelines. The Automotive Service Technician can communicate effectively with staff and customers and can pay close attention to detail when repairing sensitive equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, written & verbal, and customer service
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
• Must understand and keep up-to-date on all federal, state, and local regulations that affect the service department
• Must comply with regulations including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA
• Provide necessary training on regulations and ethical practices
• Maintain all required training
• Must pass drug screening and background check prior to employment
• Valid Driver’s License
