About The Position

The Service Technician at Coca-Cola Bottling UNITED is responsible for performing mechanical service on various vending and fountain equipment. This role involves customer interaction, inventory control, and maintaining company vehicles, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining a professional appearance. Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with fleet policy.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
  • Utilization of all company-provided resources and technology.
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of cold drink equipment or appliance repair.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a multi-meter.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.
  • Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST) or equivalent training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor.
  • Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve to resolve customer issues.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST) or Automated Beverage System (ABS) training.
  • Knowledge of Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical service on cold drink equipment.
  • Install mechanical components as needed.
  • Engage in customer interaction to address service needs.
  • Manage inventory control for parts and supplies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Mobilizer for reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in good condition.
  • Participate in cross-training for various equipment and services.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
