About The Position
YellowLite is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality and sustainable energy alternatives to our customers. We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The Service Technician position requires knowledge and experience with both DC and AC equipment and circuits. This role demands a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and the YellowLite team. The technician will work primarily on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar power systems, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The technician will be responsible for working on lifts, ladders, rooftops, and other hard-to-access areas, which requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety. The position offers a flexible work schedule with compensation based on the number of jobs completed. The technician will be expected to maintain a clean job site, work truck, and warehouse, and will need to accurately upload required information to our work platform and other applications. Communication is key, as the technician will work under the direction of the Service Manager and coordinate with all team members to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned with our company values. Interacting with clients in a respectful manner is essential, as is adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
