About The Position

The Service technician is responsible to perform service and maintenance on residential & commercial pools. Must be a team player, ability to problem solve and have good driving record Train helper using the chemical testing kits and on-site training for all service repairs, opening and closing and maintenance of swimming pools. Responsible as liaison between the customer and the Service Manager. Purchase items (completing paperwork properly) as needed for customers. Report any problems with vehicles immediately to Service Manager. Forward any service issues and/or requests to Service Manager in writing for scheduling and customer contact. Assist other departments as necessary. Perform service jobs as needed and follow up with Service Manager of any repairs necessary. Preparing and loading truck Maintain a neat and clean vehicle Ordering parts when necessary for repairs. Properly out purchase orders Properly fill out Work Orders at job site with details of work performed and items used. Leave a door knocker at each job site Communicate with customer and manger any recommended managers Call Manager at end of day before returning to shop Return to shop at end of day to secure truck Turn in Work Orders and Time Sheets each morning to Manager. Lifting of products up to 50lbs

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, both verbal and written, with company managers, staff, trainees and clients.
  • High energy level; independent thinker; tenacity in problem solving; attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within the allotted time frame.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Pool, Plumbing and Minor electrical desired but willing to train.
