About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician to join our team and perform demand service calls for residential HVAC systems and to assist in training junior team members. The Service Technician will be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all brands of residential HVAC equipment. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-service mindset, and be able to work independently. This role will also be called upon to install residential equipment as-needed. This role will primarily serve the Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • EPA Certification Required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Service Technician
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, frequently encountered in support of HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team
  • Honest and dependable
  • Valid, insurable driver's license, pass a drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

  • Work safely following company procedures
  • Service and repair HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Ability to maintain residential HVAC equipment
  • Commission installations
  • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
  • Properly maintain equipment histories, billing, etc. in digital platform
  • Take all readings on a machine and understand the importance of such
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
  • Any other assigned duties as directed by management
