About The Position

Crain Hyundai of Fort Smith is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with Hyundai or other automotive brands.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification or equivalent automotive technician certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle problems and repair options.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and dealership policies.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques specific to Hyundai vehicles.
• Complete all required documentation and service reports accurately and timely.
