About The Position

As the first national smart space installation and services company, we’re growing fast and are seeking a Service Technician for our Holliston, MA, branch. We are seeking a Service Technician for our Holliston, MA, branch to solve and troubleshoot audio, visual, control, and security equipment in residential and commercial locations. Our Service Technicians regularly interact with clients while representing the Daisy brand and develop trusted relationships, helping to enhance their lives through technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of AV/Networking /Technology Integration Experience
  • Strong communications skills with a passion for providing exceptional client services and communication on an ongoing basis
  • Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
  • Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others
  • Can pass a drug screen and background check
  • Possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle
  • Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Control4 Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals.
  • Manage all aspects of support, including end-user training, troubleshooting, and follow-through on escalation of issues.
  • Collaborate on problem-solving in both installation standards and provide challenges and successes during weekly team meetings.
  • Travels to various job sites; uses hand and power tools safely; maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle
  • In addition to clients, interact with builders and other industry professionals.
  • Communicate every day with the project manager about the progress of the project.
