About The Position
The Water Service Technician works on the City side of the water meter, providing installation, maintenance and removal. Also, does testing of backflow prevention devices.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate a backhoe
Responsibilities
- Test backflows
- Fix water leaks inside meter boxes
- Install water meters
- Fill out paper work from work orders
- Make sure the truck is fully stocked
- Notifying customers when necessary
