About The Position

The Service Technician supports all aspects of flowback equipment maintenance, preparation, and operation within a high-demand, safety-focused environment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, adherence to strict safety and quality protocols, and the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pressure testing units. The Service Technician will assist in the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of flowback and support equipment, and contribute to the overall organization and cleanliness of the work area. Candidates must be capable of working outdoors in extreme weather, lifting heavy loads, and performing physically demanding tasks at heights or in confined spaces. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently or under minimal supervisor are essential. A minimum of one year of recent experience with flowback equipment is required, along with completion of applicable safety and technical training. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks are mandatory This position reflects One X’s commitment to safety, integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

Requirements

  • At least 1-year recent, practical experience with Flowback equipment
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • PEC/SafeLand
  • Smith Driving Instruction
  • Forklift
  • Arial Lift
  • Fall Protection
  • Additional training to be assigned as needed
  • Must pass pre-employment drug tests and maintain client required random drug tests.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be cleared to operate motor vehicles at all times.
  • Must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and follows all HR, HSE and Quality Management Policies
  • Attends and engages in all OJT led by a Shop Technician II, III or Supervisor, and any other available training that is required to perform job successfully
  • Assists in all facets of equipment maintenance, preparation, testing and appearance as directed and as specific to Flowback operations
  • Responsible for maintenance and operation of the support equipment necessary to prepare the pressure equipment for storage or job prep. (Steam Cleaner, Forklift, Crane, Pressure Test Unit, Torque Units, Paint Booth Apparatus)
  • Keeps working area and facility in an organized and neat condition
  • Available to workdays and times necessary to complete required work
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
