About The Position

A large crane manufacturer is looking for service technicians to support their maintenance and repairs team. As a service technician, you will be working with 480v 3 phase motors, troubleshooting issues with cranes and get the chance to build a career with an established company in a stable industry. You will be provided with a company vehicle for your travels and get the opportunity to experience new and challenging situations with each job. The Job Perform inspections, scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on electric overhead cranes at various customer locations. Conducting on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunction. Communicate with the customers to inform them on any safety concerns and the maintenance and repair actions taken. Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, HMI, and other codes or regulations pertaining to the industry. Safety will always be the number one priority on the job. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) year of experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing and able to work off the ground.
  • Must be able to work varied overtime.
  • Be available be ‘on call’ as part of the service rotation.
  • Be able to travel and work out of town, on occasion.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with cranes is a plus.
