About The Position

We currently have an opportunity available for a Service Technician. Qualified candidates will share our passion for great customer service and have a drive to go above and beyond the minimum standard. Gillman is a promote from within company. Current Nissan Service manager was a service advisor and service technician with Gillman. The Gillman Companies is an established group of family owned automobile dealerships based out of Houston, TX. We have served the automotive needs of Texas since 1938 by maintaining a long-established tradition of excellence and customer satisfaction. Requirements

1+ years or more automotive technician experience preferred
Background in automotive repair
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include criminal background check, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Nice To Haves

Higher pay if have state inpsection licnse
Higher pay if you have ASE certifications
Higher pay with preivous dealer experiance as technician

Responsibilities

Organizes work by reviewing daily requirements; checking and gathering supplies
Completes vehicle service and repair requirements
Maintains safe environment, follows standards and procedures for automotive repair and safe working procedures
Attend factory training classses to get certified in each automotive catagory
Completes vehcile diagnosis and repair
Must be able to problem-solve, be self-motivated, results driven, quality focus, understand equipment maintenance and safety management
Must have own tools
