About The Position

The Service Technician is responsible for safely traveling to customer locations to install, service, and repair vending machines and related equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic plumbing and electrical skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and service manuals
• Basic math skills for service documentation
• Participation in the company’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program is required; employees must maintain a compatible smartphone for work use

• One year of experience as a service technician or in a related field

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair vending machines and related equipment (including water coolers, office coffee systems, microwaves, coolers, freezers, and related technology)
• Remove and replace equipment as needed
• Connect water lines and electrical components in compliance with applicable codes and sanitation standards
• Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Maintain service records, manage parts requests, and support inventory needs
• Operate a company service vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws
• Maintain professional communication and demeanor with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
• Perform other duties as assigned
