About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll help prepare, clean, maintain, and repair swimming facilities and grounds to ensure they are safe, functional, and inviting for all users.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing and repair work preferred.
• Ability to swim and stay underwater for short periods.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions in English.
• Previous aquatics or pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be available for an in-person interview and hands-on skills demonstration.

Responsibilities

• Open and close pool facilities: install/remove covers, drain pools, remove debris, clean pool houses, and prepare furniture.
• Perform service and repair work: acid washing, deck and tile repairs, coping replacement, underwater repairs, and other contracted maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain pool equipment, guard chairs, ladders, railings, and filtration systems.
• Start, monitor, and clean filtration systems.
• Conduct pre-opening inspections, coordinate health department visits, and ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Handle pool filling and water management.
• Assemble, install, repair, and disconnect plumbing/filter systems.
• Vacuum and clean pools (commercial and residential), provide leak detection, water treatment, and winterization services.
• Respond promptly to service calls, deliver supplies and parts as needed.
