An Automotive Service Technician is responsible for accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Requirements

Current state drivers license giving authorization to operate motor vehicles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge a plus
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Automotive mechanical experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive, friendly attitude

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Complete online multi-point inspection reports
Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements
Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
Document work performed on repair orders, record test procedures / results and time per company recoding procedures
