The Service Technician / Mechanic role involves working with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, and cranes, as well as construction, mining, and farm equipment. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing damaged or worn parts on various vocational and utility trucks and equipment. The technician will also provide maintenance to medium/heavy duty trucks, with a background in hydraulics and electrical being a plus. The position requires maintaining accurate records of parts, services, and labor, submitting work orders for approval, and performing all duties in accordance with safety best practices, including attending monthly safety meetings.
