About The Position
Carries out service and maintenance of the electric distribution system as necessary to provide the best possible service to members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maintain a valid North Carolina commercial driver's license and DOT certification
- Training and experience equivalent to First Class Line Technician
Responsibilities
- Respond to outage calls and get customer's power restored.
- Monitor distribution system for potential service problems.
- Make calls on customers to collect delinquent payments and to make connection connects/disconnects.
- Follow the Cooperative's safety rules, standards, and procedures.
- Detect faulty operations or materials and report all unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Be available to independently respond for emergency service calls.
