About The Position

Ferrellgas was recently recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies for 2025. Ferrellgas is looking for a dependable, hands-on Service Technician to join their team. In this role, the technician will install, maintain, and repair propane systems, ensuring customers’ homes and businesses remain safe, warm, and operational. The role involves being a trusted point of contact for customers needing problems solved quickly and correctly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand
