About The Position

Plunkett’s Pest Control has been earning trust since 1915. As a Service Technician, you will be more than a pest control expert; you will be a problem solver, trusted partner, and growth driver. This role involves managing a set territory, delivering Best in Class service, and growing your route by building strong client relationships and closing sales opportunities. The estimated commission per year is $49,000. Plunkett’s operations are grounded in its Core Four values: Leave No Doubt You Care, Own It, Grow to Control Our Destiny, and Shape Our Legacy. In this position, you will serve commercial and residential clients with professional, effective pest control solutions, build strong client relationships, deliver unmatched customer service, identify and pursue new sales opportunities, and work independently with the full support of a strong, committed team.

  • Ability to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass state licensing exams
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to meet performance expectations, including service protocols, monthly sales goals, and documentation standards
  • Favorable drug test and acceptable background records are required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with minimal supervision; able to solve problems and keep detailed records
  • Six months of experience in route management, route sales, customer service, sales, or account management
  • Experience using computer-based and mobile applications to perform work duties
